United Utilities and Recycling maintaining a safe, sustainable and responsible approach to environmental care
At United, we are proud to have seen our company evolve so much over the years. Today, we are one of the most prominent grab hire companies in the South of England to serve the utility industry. At the present time, we have two significant working relationships with Morrison Utility Services and Scotia Gas Networks, where we assist in their gas repair and maintenance contracts.
Our own role in these two contracts is to remove surplus uprisings and to import aggregates. By providing a professional and focused service, we are able to help these major clients in fulfilling their own obligations without interruption.
Our partnership with Morrison Utility Services and Scotia Gas Networks sees us supplying sustainable solutions that comply with their own recycling and environmental responsibilities. This is achieved through an audit trail that tracks the precise movement of waste through ‘cradle-to-grave’ documentation.
United recycles waste derived from these projects to produce a SMR product that is taken back to site. This eliminates the need for virgin aggregates. All backfilling and reinstatement services provided by United are performed by accredited NRSWA team members, ensuring work is undertaken to high quality standards whilst maintaining a safe, sustainable and responsible approach to environmental care.
